The Experience
Our aim is to give you a couture experience in a relaxed and friendly setting.
To begin, Margaret will talk and sketch you through the design process and talk about all things cloth, trimming and silhouette.
When a design has been chosen and measurements taken, the next step is a toile fitting, before moving onto the selected cloth and the final fitting stage. All of our pieces are made in house to ensure only the highest quality and attention to detail is upheld.
The whole process typically takes 6-8 weeks but rush orders are possible, just ask.

From the first meeting with Margaret she made the whole process of designing my wedding dress so enjoyable and unique to me. Getting Margaret to make my stunning dress, and customised veil was the best decision I made in regards to my wedding preparations. I always thought you would have to know exactly what kind of dress you wanted but Margaret’s experience and wealth of knowledge was priceless in helping me decide on the style of dress I’d like to wear on the day. There are not enough positive words to describe my experience with Margaret! I had visited a number of bridal shops but was somewhat disillusioned by what was on offer - I felt I was looking at the same dresses over and over. It was by complete chance that I heard of Margaret. I hadn't considered a bespoke wedding dress but after speaking with her, decided to visit her studio one weekend. She had just completed her Eden collection and I can honestly say that I had more choice in her capsule collection than I had in the entirety of all the bridal shops that I had visited. She is so talented and understood exactly what I wanted from day one - something simple, comfortable yet elegant. Not only is she brilliant at what she does but she is also so friendly, kind and obliging. It was genuinely such a pleasure to visit Margaret for my dress fittings, and she made the entire process stress free. My mother also had her outfit designed by Margaret and it was without a shadow of doubt, the nicest outfit she has ever worn! The quality, fit and design of her dress could never be matched by any shop bought item. I adored my dress and received countless compliments on the day on both the design and on how comfortable I appeared. This is all attributable to Margaret and her vision. I honestly could not recommend Margaret enough for her talent, professionalism and affable nature. She is an absolute gem and both my Mum and I look forward to finding an excuse to visit her again!!
Ladies, I can’t recommend Margaret Coyne Couture enough. I had a vision for my dress of dreams so opted for the couture experience. To my delight Margaret understood exactly what I wanted! Her interest and investment in me and my dress was apparent every step of the way. Studios which offer such expertise, knowledge and understanding of form and fit are few and far between- believe me I’ve been to a few! Margaret made my dream wedding dress. From my first contact with Margaret I knew she was someone I could trust with creating such an important part of our wedding. Margaret listened to my ideas and also had some beautiful touches which made my dream dress even more beautiful! Margaret was so easy to communicate with and she kept me updated at different stages of the dress making process. It was important to me that the bridal studio look after me from start to finish as I didn’t like the idea of having to find someone not connected with the studio or my dress to alter it after I bought it. The whole experience of getting my wedding dress made was a complete joy. I couldn’t recommend Margaret highly enough.
Margaret Coyne is one of the most professional and modest craftspeople you could hope to meet however her talent is anything but modest. She is highly skilled, knowledgeable and has many years’ experience at the top tier of the wedding dress design industry. Margaret has an intuition when it comes to fabric, fit, cut, movement… I love quality clothing and have always tried to buy the best I could afford. I know fairly well what suits me but when it comes to wedding dresses – well, this was my one and only so - I didn’t really know where to start... I had a few vague notions. Margaret listened and advised and we came to a wonderful conclusion with my dress. I went from being a shy bride to wanting all eyes on me!
